In if a new Food Safety Administration is formed out of the FDA, it will be critical that our dietary supplements regulated under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 go there too (they are foods, after all). We don't want this to be a back-door way to begin regulating supplements as drugs (a la Codex Alimentarius).

Thank you for the rundown on these new proposed food regulations. I think it is high time for some more measured means of regulating food quality. I hope that these regulatory propositions go forth.
